You can interact with some parts of StreetBite without providing personal information, however certain features require an account.

4. Payments and Financial Information

StreetBite does not collect, store, or process credit card details.

All payments (where enabled) are handled securely by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Your payment details are provided directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's own privacy and security practices.

StreetBite may receive limited non-sensitive information from Stripe (such as transaction status or reference IDs) for reconciliation and support purposes only.

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the StreetBite platform
  • Create and manage user profiles

Data storage

Primary data storage is hosted using Google Cloud infrastructure. Google Cloud data is currently located in Australia.

However, due to the nature of cloud services, integrated platforms, backups, and support services, data may be processed or accessed from overseas locations from time to time.

We do not guarantee that data will never be transferred or accessed outside Australia, but we take steps to ensure any such handling is consistent with Australian privacy requirements.

7. Overseas Disclosure

Where personal information is accessed or processed outside Australia:

  • We use reputable service providers
  • We require appropriate security and privacy safeguards
  • We remain accountable under the Privacy Act
